Sasha Vadher Speaks to Hyphen

Sasha Vadher — lead actress across The Model, Before Nikkah and They’re Gone — has been interviewed by Hyphen, written by Anita Mureithi.

The piece steps away from the usual press-cycle questions. It covers morning workouts, what a Saturday night actually looks like, and her theory that you can tell whether a coffee will be good by looking at the barista.

Three films, one lead

Vadher has now led three London New Wave features in succession — a rare thing at any level of the industry, and rarer still outside the studio system. In The Model she carries a film about inherited expectation. In Before Nikkah she plays one half of a two-hander built on conversation. In They’re Gone, now in post-production, she plays G.
