Why this film, why now
A British political conversation that once whispered now speaks openly. Polling at record highs. Headlines fixed on who belongs and who does not. The line between satire and reportage has thinned to nothing.
They’re Gone does not predict that Britain. It tunes the dial three clicks forward and asks the only question worth asking: when the country you live in becomes the country it has been threatening to be, what does an ordinary boy do?
Written and directed by Marcus Flemmings. Cinematography by Haider Zafar.
